Lindsey Graham Just Brought the Hammer Down on Susan Collins For Calling for Mueller’s Testimony

Democrats are angry ever since the full release of the Mueller report completely exonerated President Trump from their claims of collusion and obstruction of justice during the 2016 presidential election.

Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) is making media waves today after she released a statement in support of Robert Mueller testifying before Congress to “give the Congress and the American people another opportunity to better understand the facts and conclusions that he reached during his investigation.”

Both U.S. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler, D-New York and U.S. Sen. Diane Feinstein of California have requested Mueller testify.

Collins constantly toes the line in Congress, often siding with Democrats on key votes such as healthcare and, briefly, the confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh but this is a step too far.

The report completely vindicates President Trump so there is no need to parade Mueller in front of Congress like the Democrats likely want to and muddy the waters of what is obviously a clear conclusion by the special counsel.

Sen. Lindsey Graham gave his take on Collins’ comments stating that he believes it definitely is not necessary to have Mueller testify to Congress when we can see his conclusions in the publicly released report.

“He’s done his job and I’m not going to retry the case.”

Democrats need to realize that a respected man, Attorney General William Barr has given his conclusion that Trump should not be indicted based on the findings of the Mueller report and that should be enough for any true American.
