House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif. made headlines last week when he claimed to have proof of collusion between President Trump and Russia, without having any evidence of that.
“You can see evidence in plain sight on the issue of collusion.”
Well, legal professionals everywhere are calling foul on this statement by Schiff because that’s not how our legal or justice system work in America.
Former Rep. and current Fox News contributor Trey Gowdy berated Schiff for these comments that are spreading misinformation like wildfire.
“By the way, for those who didn’t go to law school, there’s no such thing. There’s no such thing as evidence that is not circumstantial or direct.”
Gowdy accused Schiff of making a “completely bombastic statement, completely unsupported by the facts” and says that he only goes on shows that he knows will not press him on that issue.
Both the House and Senate Intelligence committees have said that they found no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. What more do you need? His last comments about Schiff are brilliant.
“That three-eyed raven, Adam Schiff, who sees things nobody else can see, says he has evidence, more than circumstantial and not direct. …” We know this is just posturing by Schiff.
