First Lady Melania Trump toured the USS George H.W. Bush aircraft carrier on Wednesday where she became the only First Lady to fly in on an Osprey V-22 to tour the ship.
She greeted service members and their families aboard the ship and even sat down in the mess hall to visit with those stationed aboard the ship.
After her tour and meet-and-greet session, the First Lady sat down for a rare interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity where she got incredibly candid about her time in the White House and how she is handling the notoriety of being the First Lady of the United States.
She discussed that she believes in hard work and determination to get where you want in life and that she believes we need to support the next generation of children fulfilling their dreams.
Hannity asked her how it feels to have started out in a small town in Slovenia as a child and to now be the First Lady of the United States.
“After my studies I went into the modeling business and I lived in Milan and Paris. In 1996 I moved to New York. … Now here we are today. … It’s incredible when you think about it – your life, where you were born and all the steps you took. I took a lot of steps. … You learn a lot on the way here.”
Hannity then asked her something that everyone wants to know – when she knew Donald Trump was the one she wanted to marry.
“We had great chemistry when we met in 1998. We dated for a long time before we got married. And we had a son. We had great chemistry from day one.”
What an incredible story of how they met and fell in love! All the doubters need to see this interview.
Are you proud of our First Lady?
